Shargo Limited Lifetime Warranty​

Shargo LLC (“Shargo”) provides this Limited Lifetime Warranty for all Shargo-manufactured products, including Sierra Grates®.

Warranty Coverage

Subject to the limitations set forth below, Shargo warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when properly installed, maintained, and used under normal conditions.This warranty applies only when the product is installed by a licensed or professional installer. The warranty is transferable from the original homeowner to a subsequent purchaser of the home in which the product was installed.This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to parts manufactured by Shargo.

Warranty Exclusion

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Smoke damage

  • Damage caused by fire, flood, earthquake, or other acts of God

  • Any product that has been:

    1. Purchased from an unauthorized Shargo dealer, retailer, or distributor

    2. Modified or altered

    3. Improperly serviced, inspected, or cleaned

    4. Subjected to negligence, abuse, misuse, or use not in accordance with Shargo’s installation instructions, as determined by Shargo

Warranty Terms

Shargo provides the following warranty coverage:

  • 100% of MSRP for 15 years from the original date of purchase

  • 50% of MSRP thereafter, for the lifetime of the product

All warranty obligations are limited, at Shargo’s discretion, to repair or replacement of the defective product.
These remedies constitute Shargo’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty.

This warranty has no cash surrender value.

The terms and conditions of this warranty may not be modified, altered, or waived by any action, representation, or omission—whether oral or written—except by express written authorization from an executive officer of Shargo.

Warranty Claims

Shargo must be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to inspect any allegedly defective product before replacement under this warranty.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Labor, removal, reinstallation, and installation costs are not covered under this warranty.

WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW, SHARGO DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SHARGO BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT LOSS OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY. SHARGO’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
